aboutGolf, a player in golf simulator and golf performance technology, showcased its PGA Tour WideScreen Simulator with Canon USA, at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The simulator features a true 4K Canon projection system.

“Using the Canon 4K 600STZ with our simulators enhances the user experience and keeps aboutGolf on the cutting edge,” said Randall Henry, CEO/President of aboutGolf.

Visitors at CES were able to test their ability with closest-to-the-pin and long-drive contests. aboutGolf also presented its Fli multimedia platform, for home and commercial installations, as well as the 1400 Series that includes a new Onyx software release, new courses, games, online updates, and supporting technology.

Features of the 1400 series include the World Long Drive competition range grid as a practice venue, a new Eagle Challenge game, and a competition course that brings a fresh twist to the classic closest-to-the-pin and long-drive contests.

Fli is aboutGolf’s proprietary smart-simulator multimedia platform that will allow owners to easily access movies, music, gaming television and more. With picture-in-picture options you can play a round of golf while watching a movie or other media. Owners are also able to access online gaming, internet, online movie sources, Blu-Ray etc.

aboutGolf also had a single projector aboutGolf Curve simulator showcased with Gigabyte Technology Co. in Caesar’s Palace.
