The Graham and Ruby DeLaet Foundation has released details on how players and sponsors can sign on to the annual Graham Slam fundraising event to raise funds to improve children’s health and wellness and the development of junior golf across Canada.

The Graham Slam Gala gets things under way on July 11 at TCU Place in Saskatoon. The always spectacular evening is slated to happen from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. The gala includes a plated dinner, drinks, gift bags, meeting Graham DeLaet, other celebrities, and a comedy act.

The Graham Slam golf tournament tees off the next day on July 12 at
The Willows Golf and Country Club in Saskatoon.

There will be a VIP breakfast and registration from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. A general registration will happen from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Graham will follow with a golf clinic from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

The men and women golfers will then start play with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. with everyone expected to complete their rounds by 4 p.m. A cocktail reception gets going at 4:30 p.m. and will be accompanied by the handing out of prizes and a raffle.

Starting in 2017, Graham Slam brought the DeLaet Cup junior tournament component to the event. It is organized and conducted in conjunction with the Canadian Junior Golf Association.

The DeLaet Cup involves qualifiers taking place across Canada prior to the final competition, with 24 of Canada’s top junior golfers earning the opportunity to compete in the tournament.

The qualifiers will produce 12 top juniors from the east and west who will meet in Saskatchewan to play a Ryder Cup-style match. Graham will be present throughout the tournament to watch the juniors and provide mentorship through clinics and golf talks.
