Mountain Creek Golf Course has laid out the welcome mat for former players and new players so that they can become part of the facility’s fun-is-always-number-one leagues in 2018.

The course’s Public Ladies Night happens on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with tee-times being booked starting at 3:30 pm. The Mixed Seniors Night is slotted in for Mondays with tee-times being booked starting at 2 p.m.

Mountain Creek’s owner Jonathan Schaepper says the leagues are only $25 to join and everyone pays as they play. He adds that the golfers can join the leagues as a single player or in a group.

Schaepper says the championship 18-hole layout winds its way around two lakes and a meandering creek factors in on five holes. The clubhouse sits on a high point overlooking the property and the pro shop carries a full line of equipment and clothing. The track is known for its friendly atmosphere and there are always plenty of tee-times available for public play and tournaments.

Mountain Creek is located six km south of the town of Arnprior on White Lake Road, 25-30 minutes from the Canadian Tire Centre. The Ottawa Valley course plays to par 70/71 with five sets of tee markers. The layout measures 6,207 yards from the blues, 6,017 yards from the whites, 5,483 yards from the greens, 5,403 yards from the reds and 4,167 from the yellows.
