Team Pine View cruised to victory by 16 points on their home track in the 2021 Men’s OVGA Intersectionals over Manderley, Lac Ste Marie and Iroquois.

Team Pine View tallied 48 points, Manderley came in second with 32 points, Lac Ste Marie finished third on 26 points and Iroquois ended up fourth with 14 points.

Pine View’s big guns who scored the maximum of six points each were Troy Mott, Dan Dore, Rick Lane, Nigel Selig and Brian Neil. 

The course’s owner Mike Copeland and event-co-ordinator Ben Patenaude finished with four points apiece along with Gavin Fletcher and Steph Tracey.

Pine View Golf Course is located at 1471 Blair Rd.

Pine View’s Championship Course is a 6,600-yard par 72 parkland design. The front nine measures 3,428 yards from the tips and is a par 36. The back nine is also a par 36 and plays 3,172 yards. 

The design provides ample landing areas for tee shots and the large undulating putting surfaces are well guarded by bunkers. Management has added two ponds on the back nine and a full service practice area opened last year.
