The Ottawa Valley Golf Association (OVGA) reports that there were 709 golfers representing 62 clubs from the Ottawa Valley Region competing in the 2023 OVGA Men’s Intersectionals on July 9. 

The OVGA Intersectionals is the largest golf event held in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec each summer. 

Teams of men, senior men, women, senior women and junior golfers from OVGA member clubs play simultaneous matches against three other clubs in their respective divisions. 

The team earning the most points in each division moves up a division the following year, while the team with the lowest points moves down a division.

Congratulations to the team from Rideau View Golf Club, who captured first place in the Men’s A Division, and were awarded the Intersectionals Trophy sponsored by GOLFOMAX.
