The opportunity for men and women to become Golf Warriors is on the tee now that registration has opened for the 100 Holes of Hope 2024 Golf Marathon at Stonebridge Golf Club on July 29.

The 100 Holes of Hope event is held to raise funds for the Finding HOPE Foundation in the battle against Cystic Fibrosis and to support Mental Heath efforts. 

The two-person team Golf Warriors are required to raise a minimum $1,500 in pledges or combined team amount of $3,000. New this year are four-person teams required to raise $1,000 each or a team total of $4,000.

The annual charity golf marathon features two-person teams playing 100 holes of golf in one day, or at least they give it their best shot. The four-person teams play 50 holes. 

The day begins at 6 a.m. for breakfast and sign-in. The Teams of two players per hole begin the marathon at 7 a.m. in a shotgun format and each warrior has their own cart. 

Lunch is served at the half-way house and refreshments are available throughout the day. The marathon is over at 6:45 p.m. or earlier, and then everyone gathers on the patio for refreshments, massages and live entertainment.

The evening events begin with dinner for you and a guest at 8 p.m., followed by acknowledgments, video presentation, guest speaker, awards & prizes and the cheque presentation to our benefactors.

Here’s what is included:

• A full day of golf at Stonebridge Golf Club
• Hot buffet breakfast, BBQ lunch, and three-course dinner with wine for you and a guest
• Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are provided on the course throughout the day
(alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase)
• Live entertainment will be featured on the outdoor patio between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
• Professional massages are available for all Golf Warriors between 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
• Fundraising awards and prizes including our coveted Warrior Top Fundraiser trophy
• Chance to win a 2024 car (TBD)
• Prizes for winning scores, individual and team, most birdies, closest to the hole, longest drive,
most honest golfer and fewest balls lost
• Golf Warrior apparel (TBD)
